“Asato ma sadagamaya, tamasoma jyotirgamaya,

mrityorma amritamgamaya”

Every institution has its own motto to give it a special identity. This motto is inscribed within an emblem, which is special to a school, an institution or an organization. A student studying at New Catholic Mission School, Jhabua must know its motto, the meaning of the school emblem and be worthy of it.

New Catholic Mission School is established to imbibe wisdom and knowledge through to differentiate right and wrong, truth and false hood, justice and injustice. It is the wisdom which makes education complete. 

Inscribed within the shield are the words “Om asato ma ….. taken from Brihdaranyaka Upnisada 1:3:27. It means Oh Almighty! Lead us from the unreal (falsity) to the real (truth) from darkness to light, From death to immortality! May there be Peace ! Peace ! Buming lamp symbolizes the light of knowledge and wisdom which is expected to spread where ever the students go and whatever they do. Light is the symbol of energy of life. So the students must inculcate that energy which helps them to gain wisdom and knowledge. The circle symbolizes the whole world. Thus the aim of our school is to educate the students of the area who would work to build a better society and nation.

A student of New Catholic Mission school should emerge as women and men with a total and integrated personality, having the following values. It is our desire that our students have it to the full.
